Abdiqani Hassan Dhegjar is a senior officer of the Somali Police Force with extensive experience in police leadership, security administration, and institutional management. He currently serves as the Secretary and Cheif protocol to the Commander of the Somali Police Force, a key position that supports the Office of the Commander in strategic coordination, policy implementation, and high-level administrative affairs.
Born in Garowe in 1985, Abdiqani Hassan Dhegjar holds a Bachelor’s Degree and has devoted many years of professional service to law enforcement and national security. Throughout his career, he has served in various operational and administrative roles, contributing significantly to the effectiveness and development of police institutions.
He holds the rank of Captain (Gaashaanle – G/le) within the Somali Police Force. In addition to his current responsibilities, he previously served as Unit Commander of the PSF, where he demonstrated strong leadership, discipline, and operational competence.
