Somali Police chief commends women’s role in peace and security
Chief of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, on Monday met the Somali National Women’s Organization, praising their contributions to peace, community development, and national security. He pledged to priorities their request for promoting female police officers and appointing them to senior roles within the force.
He also emphasized the vital role of Somali women in safeguarding national heritage, independence, and unity, encouraging them to persist in their efforts.
The police chief was accompanied in the meeting by the Head of Police and Community Relations, Colonel Qaalli Ahmed Adaan.
