Chief of Police Holds Urgent Meeting to Enhance Security in Mogadishu
Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, Commander of the Somali Police Force, convened an urgent meeting with commanders of the police stations and units across the Banadir region. The meeting, attended by key security personnel, focused on the current security situation in Mogadishu and strategies for improvement.
During the meeting, Commander Asad emphasized the importance of upholding the rights of citizens and ensuring the humane treatment of prisoners. He urged the officers to distinguish themselves from other forces through exemplary conduct and community-oriented policing. “Our mission is to protect and serve the community with integrity and respect. By doing so, we can earn the trust and cooperation of the public,” said Commander Asad.
