Police Commissioner of Somalia, General Asad Osman Abdullahi, has urged district police chiefs in the Benadir region to uphold the rule of law.

Speaking to the district chiefs on Thursday, Gen. Abdullahi encouraged them to implement a policing approach that emphasizes protecting human rights and the well-being of individuals in their custody.

This directive aims to ensure accountability, fairness, and respect for human dignity within law enforcement practices.
