The Police Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Brigadier General Asad Osman received the China Ambassador to Somalia Amb. Wang Yu, at his office on Thursday.

They discussed further strengthening security and rebuilding new police strategies for security and supporting the Somali police forces trainings.

The Ambassador Wang Yu praised the government and the Somali people for the development and strong efforts to liberate, restore trust and rebuild the country, promising to provide more support in training, equipping, and enhancing the skills of the Somali Police Force.

Brigadier General Asad Osman thanks the Chinese government for their tireless support to the Somali government and people in the fight against terrorism, security, and the development of Somalia, especially the Somali Police Force.
