The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sh. Mohamud has on Saturday attended the 79th anniversary of the foundation of the Somali Police Force and called them to keep law and order and serve the public well.

The President urged Police to keep army rules, and disciplines related to their taskforce, ordering them to be epicenter to the fight against corruption and narcotics which are challenging factors to ensuring national security.

“After 56 years, an election is being held in the country, let the police organize for the safety of those who vote.” President Hassan Sheikh

President Hassan Sheikh stated, “There is nowhere to go back. This country has a government that will not allow Somali matters to be taken overseas.”
