The Commander of the Somali Police Force, Major General Asad Osman Abdullahi, accompanied by senior police officers, received in his office a delegation from the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) and the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS).

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Somali Police and the UN agencies, with the aim of enhancing coordination and mutual support. Key priorities discussed included improving the working relationship, reinforcing security efforts, and advancing the development of the Police Force through targeted training and facilitation of logistical support.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in order to bolster the capacity and operational readiness of the Somali Police Force in maintaining national security and public safety.
